When the game arrived in stores late 2007, there were many hopes for this game considering that it had been hyped up. This is an image of the Ak-47, a heavy assault rifle. Its typical clip size is 30, however, clip sizes can go up to about 70. This particular weapon fires a non-NATO (North Atlantic Treaty Organization) round, at a speed of 2,329 feet per second.

Image to the left is a picture of the Ak-74. this is essentially the Ak-47, with a folding stock, and a smaller caliber bullet. This gun would be considered a sub-machine gun, versus the Ak-47 which is an assault rifle.

This is an M16. It is one of the most used assault rifles, next to the Ak-47. There are over 73 countries that use this particular weapon as of March 3, 2008. It is gas operated and fires a 5.56*45 NATO round.

This weapon is a P90 sub-machine gun. It is a small sub-machine gun created by the Belgians. It fires a 5.7*28mm round. This weapon was created in 1994, and is still in service in March of 2008. This weapon may look small, but it is really light, weighing only 6.61 lbs. loaded.

The amazing weapon to the left is the Barrett .50 caliber sniper rifle. Obviously, it fires a .50 caliber bullet, but the bullet itself is a 12.7*99mm round, which is almost 3 times the size of that fired by the P90. Though the game devolpers did get almost everything right about this gun, in the images that they show you, the weapon is actually the bolt- action variant versus the semi-automatic version that actually operates during game play.

This pistol is a .50 caliber Desert Eagle. It weighs 3 lbs. and the length of the barrel will vary depending on the model, however, because of this the weight of the weapon is subject to change. The size of the bullet is a .50 Action Express round. The clip size of the weapon ranges from 5-7 bullets.

This is a semi-automatic sniper rifle called the Dragunov. It was originally made by the Soviet Union, but it is now employed by 11 other countries. It fires a 7.62*54mm round. It has a 10 round clip, and can be fired at targets over 1000 yards away.

This is the G3 semi-automatic assault rifle, produced by Heckler and Koch. This weapon originated in the former West Germany. though it is primarily a semi-automatic rifle, it can also fire fully automatic. It fires a 7.62*51mm NATO round, however there are many different models, which can fire different rounds.

This is the G36, it is yet another weapon produced by Heckler and Koch. It originated in Germany, but it is now in service in 27 countries including the United States. It fires a 5.56*45mm NATO round from a detachable clip.


This is the M1014 combat shotgun. It originated in Italy, but is now used by the United States, and the Irish. It fires a 12 gauge round. Not only that, but this weapon is semi- automatic.

This is the M14, which originated in the United States. It is a semi automatic rifle, which can be used as a battle rifle or as a sniper rifle. It fires a 7.62*51mm NATO round from a detachable clip.

This is the image of the m40/remington700. These are both sniper rifles, but the m40, is the rifle that the US Army adopted and modified. They both fire a 7.62*52mm NATO round, however, the r700 can also fire many other types of rounds, because many different law enforcment agencies have their own version of the rifle with different modifications.

This is the m60 machine gun. It was invented by the united states in 1957, but it is still in production to date. It fires a 7.62*51mm bullet. Unlike most of the other guns features on this site, this weapon is belt fed rather thatn clip loaded.

This is the MP44.It originated in the former Nazi Germany. It fires a 7.92*33mm round, from a banana clip. This weapon is no longer in production, in fact it was only in production for one year, before the fall of Nazi Germany at the end of World War II.


This is the MP5. This is a sub-machine gun that fires a 9mm bullet. Though the bullet is very small, it is a fully automatic, and used by numerous special forces groups world wide. This is essentially the most popular sub-machine gun in the world.

This is the Russian made RPD. It is a light machine gun which, fires a 7.62*39mm round. It is belt fed, however, it is typically fed through a detachable 50 round drum. Though the weapon is fairly reliable and effective the only countries which still use this weapon are the poor, former soviet countries and also a handful of sub-saharan countries.

This is the M249 otherwise known as the SAW or Squad Automatic Weapon. This weapon was created in a joint effort between the Belgians and the United States. This particular weapon fires a 5.56*45mm NATO round. This weapon is belt fed, with the amount of rounds varying from 100 to 200.

This is the Uzi full automatic machine pistol. It fires from a detachable clip of between 10 and 50, with the size of the round varying from model to model.

This is the Skorpion machine pistol. It is very similar to the Uzi, however, this weapon originated in Czechoclovakia. this particular weapon is fully automatic and fires a 7.65*17mm round from a detachable clip of 10 or 20 rounds.
