     The PsP brought renovation to Sony, a mere backup defense for the Ps3. In Sony's world, what better to have, than a perfect sales grabber? The PsP has launched many titles that can be simple and are fun. The cost is very similar to that of the Ds. The PsP provides broadband connection for multiplayer and chat, with many more features available.

Playstation 2:

     Currently Sony is releasing few games every year for the Ps2. Why? This is because, ever since the Ps3 was launched, game fans have ever since tried their luck on the newest console. Also, the newest console, the Ps3 has been coming out with new releases, pleasing game fans.

Playstation 3:

     The Ps3 is the newest console of 2007, and will be, most likely, for 2008. New games are pouring out of Sony's department in the race against the gaming market for popularity, against major rivals such as, Microsoft and Nintendo. The cost? The Ps3 will cost you $600 retail price, if you want the 60-gig memory hard drive, otherwise $500 for the 40-gig memory (also with less options).

Ds (Dual Screen)

     A relatively new portable system, the original version was launched sometime in 2005, with a lite version, launched during 2006. The only real threat to sales for the Ds would be the PsP and Xbox 360; while the Wii keeps an even pace, affecting the Nintendo Ds little.

Wii

     The Nintendo Wii, released in 2006, brought the company of Nintendo promises. The sales for the Wii were so extremely high that new releases have been pouring out of the department's doors ever since the launch. However, it may seem the Wii is taking over the Ds, its not.

     Sales remain at an even pace with Wii and Ds. The new Wii Zapper proved to become a hit in Link's Crossbow Training and many popular first-person shooters.

Xbox

     The Xbox has been out for a long time. It has maintained its ground very well; while coming out with a steady pace of new releases. However, you don't see too many new hits for the original Xbox anymore, its always a new Xbox 360 game, which has given the original Xbox its offset. People now just don't go out anymore to buy the original Xbox; people go out now to buy the Xbox 360.

     With the release of the Xbox 360, sales for the original Xbox games drowned. The Xbox 360 gave a whole new meaning to going online. However, the fifty-dollar fee per year for Xbox live may seem a tad bit overwhelming; it's actually not. Xbox live offers a lot.

     From marketing to friends you can do all sorts of things online. Although, sixty to one hundred dollars worth hard drive is required.
