Ski Sundown (Winter Season 2007-2008):
I snowboarded this mountain a numerous amount of times during this winter season; and I must say I was not impressed with the mountain at all. I've been going to Ski Sundown for about 7 years now; and no season has ever been worse than the 2007-2008 winter season. The set up for the terrain park was terrible, with no consistent lines. The tabletop jump was big; to the point that it was nearly impossible to clear. There was only one time during the season; when I found the snow to be particularly good. I was extremely dissappointed with the overall quality of 'Sundown this season, and hope for a better winter next year.

Loon (Winter Season 2007-2008):
This year the school's weekend trip was booked at Loon mountain in New Hampshire. The weather for the weekend trip was hurrendous it rained as we were leaving the mountain on Saturday, and all day on Sunday. The weather had a terrible impact on my impression of the mountain; however I will try my best to look beyond it. The mountain was very spacious, and although I have been to much larger mountains, Loon seemed similar to size in feel, even though it was clearly dwarfed by other ski resorts. The terrain; although I spent little of my time in it, seemed like it was composed very well. The right jumps were in the right places, and there were a variety of boxes, rails, and bonks. The mountain was groomed fairly well, and the waiting line for the gondola, to my delight, was housed inside a building. If the weather had been better, I probably would have enjoyed the mountain much much more; however, the mountain was good just the same.
