The Intro to Video Production class is the pre-requisite for all other video classes at RHAM High School.  During this one-semester class students learn basic camera handling, shot composition, script writing, and non-linear video editing while creating a 30 second commercial, how-to video, news package, music video, and short film.  Editing is done on 6 Dell workstations running Avid Xpress DV 3.5 software.  Students who complete the class with an average of "C" or better can go on to one of the advanced video courses.
